The House

Our House is a character building dating from 1894! We have renovated it while keeping its vintage charm. It’s made up of 2 apartments: the Grand Cru on the ground floor and the Loft on the upper floor.

The two apartments are connected by stairs. A group up to 10 people will be able to enjoy the entire house (over 100 square meters in total). This makes it the perfect accommodation for a family trip to Avize or even a bachelor(ette) weekend in the heart of the Côte des Blancs in Champagne!

The House Au 1894 includes beds for 9 people: 2 bedrooms with double beds on the ground floor, 1 bedroom upstairs with a queen-size bed and a single mattress perfect for a child, and an extra double bed in the living room upstairs. Upon request, we can provide an extra bed or baby cot for free.

It also has 2 furnished kitchens, 2 living rooms, and 2 bathrooms with showers. You’ll be able to use 2 washing machines and a clothes dryer. It’s a spacious accommodation with charm: exposed beams, second-hand furniture, vintage decoration…

The entire house benefits from reversible air-conditioning. Concerned about the environment, we are trying to do our part by applying eco-conscious efforts in our accommodations. The House is equipped with energy-saving lighting, water-saving taps, and a heat pump.

It has everything you’ll need in terms of furniture, storage space, kitchen essentials (dishes, utensils, coffee, tea, champagne glasses, etc.)… We provide bed sheets and towels. Cleaning fee is included in the price. We thought of everything to make you feel at home.

With the peace and quiet of the countryside, and all the comfort of the city, Avize is the ideal place to relax.

This lodging is officially classified as a three-star tourist rental. It’s located in Avize, at the heart of the Côte des Blancs vineyard region. This charming village has been chosen by many winegrowers and champagne houses for the high quality of its soil, classified “Grand Cru”. Parking spots, a charging station for electric cars, a bakery and other shops are all available right next to our building.

We can help you plan your stay and offer many activities to discover the vineyards and villages of the Champagne region, it is our specialty.
