Booking

You can either pay online or in cash.

Yes, the Au 1894 building can welcome 10 people at once (8 adults and 2 children): you can now book the entire House through our website.

Check-in

You can arrive from 3 PM. It’s a self check-in: the keys are in a lockbox outside, which allows you to access the apartment whenever you need.

Our building Au 1894 is located in Avize, Marne (51) in France. The exact address will be sent to you once you have booked your stay.
Avize is located 10 kilometers away from Epernay and some 40 kilometers away from Reims. Both cities have train stations.
We can offer a shuttle service to come pick you up from nearby airports or train stations. Contact us for a quotation.

Yes, there is free parking in the streets in front of the building and around. There’s also the town hall’s parking lot just 100 meters away, located Place Charles de Gaulle, where you’ll find a charging station for electric cars.

The apartment “Le Grand Cru” is on the ground floor, however there’s a few small steps and there’s no specific security equipment in the bathroom.

Check-in and check-out procedures are autonomous thanks to a lockbox for the keys. We ask you to arrive after 3 PM and leave before 11 AM. However, if the apartment isn’t booked immediately after your departure, we can allow for you to leave later. Please contact us to agree on the time.

House rules

You’ll have essential amenities such as linen (bed sheets, bath and kitchen towels), basic hygiene products (soap, toilet paper) and cleaning supplies (dish soap, laundry liquid…). The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you’ll need: dishes, glassware, utensils, coffee, tea, etc.

Yes, it is not allowed to smoke inside the apartment and in the shared areas of the building.

Small pets are allowed as long as they don’t cause damage or too much noise. Please don’t let them onto the couch and beds.

Services

Yes, a cleaning fee is included in the price you pay when booking your stay.

No, however you can order a breakfast basket for an additional cost.

The house’s traditional champagne cellar is accessible for an additional cost.

In case of issue

You’ll be entirely refunded if you cancel your stay at least 7 days before the date you had booked. In case of a last minute emergency, please contact us.

Contact us as soon as possible. If you need to cut off the electrical power or the water, you’ll find instructions to do so in the welcome book provided in the apartment.
